Het bestaat uit twee delen zachtbord en een deel hard bord. Het ene deel van het zacht bord heb ik bekleed met een vrolijk stofje en deze gebruik ik als prikbord. Het andere deel van het zachtbord heb ik geschilderd met magneetverf (heel veel lagen, want anders werkt het niet) en daaroverheen krijtbordverf. De twee delen zachtbord heb ik op het grote stuk hard bord gelijmd en aan de muur bevestigd. Het is eigenlijk net zo simpel als het klinkt!
At the first day of school pictures you see my kids with a pin/chalk/magnet board I made myself. It's made out of 3 pieces of wood. One hard board and two soft boards. One piece of soft board I put around some happy fabric, so I could pin pictures on it. And the other piece of soft board I painted with magnet (a lot of layers, otherwise the magnets won't stick) and chalk board paint. I glued the pieces of soft board onto the hardboard and hang it on the wall. It's actually as simple as it sounds!
En het resultaat is een groot succes. Kinderen zijn blij met het speelhoekje en mama is blij met de centrale plek voor alle tekeningen en knutselwerkjes!
The outcome is a big hit. For the kids as they have their own corner in the living room to play in as well as for mommy, so she has one place to hang all the artwork (which is a lot!).
